I’m hanging onto every word that you write, your phrasing and choice of words and every little emotion, ever gesture, it’s just PERFECTION. I love how affected everyone is over the loss of Kakashi and his return, especially Minato, my heart ugh. But becuase I was hoping so fucking deeply that Kakashi would reappear, as Obito Rin and Minato probably were, caught up in the joyous moment of Kakashi’s reappearance, I hadn’t considered the possibility that it was god fucking Zetsu. My god. I—just, wow. I was completely blindsided and absolutely floored at how I let my hopes get the better of me and completely lowered my guard. Wow. It’s truly a testament to how engrossing your stories are.
Thank you so much for birthing this absolute gem! Please please I’m begging you, as are so many others here, wouldn't you consider updating this? I would wait forever and ever. This story is too precious for me to give it up. I think we readers would do anything it takes to bring this story back to life again.

So many wonderful things going on in this premise in these two chapters, but I'm particularly loving the premise and characterization. I called Minato (his presence and questions were too coincidental, although your detail distractions were great), and I did consider the Inuzuka nose ousting Kakashi; but somehow, I didn't connect the two to reach that Minato could've sent her to validate Kakashi's scent. I was too distracted by her accusing Kakashi of being the pervert, lol. The end reveal was great.

I liked the confirmation of Minato's suspicions by having the second chapter from Minato's POV, but of course I'm in suspense over what's happened to Kakashi. I presume that Zetsu used the stolen chakra for that transformation, but I haven't decided whether or not Kakashi is hanging around the village to hunt the Zetsu or fled completely. I also haven't decided whether or not Zetsu was pursuing him for Obito's eye or merely attacking Obito to draw out Kakashi (or both?). That stubborn reincarnation reference (Kakashi) could refer to either pursuit or capture, really. The dog is a toss up right now for Tsume (who might be able to identify transformed Zetsu if they can't mimic scent, which I can't recall if they can) or Kakashi's ninken. That coincidental stray dog that comforted Minato matches the description of one of his ninken. Not to mention that I'm having a hard time trusting coincidences in this story, since I think Kakashi awoke in the new dimension where the younger self died, among other things. (My nose will eventually wind up too close to the screen at this rate, but it's a fun feeling.)

All of their swirling emotions hit you in the heart and show the characters so well. I can't wait to read more of this one. Once again, what a cliffhanger. Thanks for a lovely couple of chapters, and I hope that you're staying safe right now~

The story is seriously soooo good. and damn was that a masterpiece of a cliffhanger... don't discontinue is please.. i don't care if it takes you a few months to write another chapter. just... dont take more than a few months maybe? pretty please?
