SO MANY FEELS! I don’t know why it took me so long to find your fics but I’m hooked now. I love everything about this. Especially the ending - while a definitive sappy ending would be great, this open-ended suspense is somehow better.

Part of me was thinking you were going to definitively kill him - that's the kind of thought experiment I'd do in a one-off. But this might just be worse.

For this story alone, I want the cliche ending to be true. I want to believe that she didn’t pulled the trigger and they somehow, some way made it work between them without it backfiring in the end. I’m going to believe that until you prove me wrong with your follow up story, if you choose to write it.

Yes! This was perfect, all that build up of will she or won’t she and I’m going to believe she gave herself that moment and enjoyed the afternoon with him almost like a last meal and then she finally killed him. That’s how I’m going to imagine it because it’s kind of a happy ending but kinda not lol
