I take it that the fact that fawkes is gray with black that he is vespers father Zahran. Because fawkes isnt in his real form and vesper made the observation that the black parts on his fether kinda look like stripes and as soon as she found her form he became quite atached to her he even come with her becouse of a feeling not to mention that he said that it was his home world

this sounds very interesting and I would honestly love to read more of this and I hope you update it again soon.
