what a redemption and beautifully done with the Colors!

Aw, this is sweet. I enjoy the idea of colours - be it of wings or the aura of a person - describing who the characters are. Of course, colours are always used to do that in movies, but it is a different thing when in the world these characters inhabit this is something official, too. And it becomes even more interesting when this colour can change, depending on who you are becoming.
Those black wings of his were a burden to Loki, but only because like his heritage and his sister there are too many things that have never been spoken about. I wonder, had the knowledge not been forgotten, had Loki been a happier child in this? Knowing his were the wings of a protector and not an evil soul?
In any case, you told a beautiful little story here, and you used very fitting colours, too.

That last sentence was so awesome, and it seriously describes Loki perfectly, him having his broken glory, loved that. Ya know, I kinda have a feeling that Loki did always feel insecure about the way he looks in general. (EVEN THO IT'S OBVIOUS HES PERFECT) since he has pale skin, black hair, and greenish eyes. While Odin, Frigga, and Thor were all blondes with golden tanned skin and sky-blue eyes...

but yep, now im thinking how awesome everyone from Asgard would look with wings (mostly Loki) ... and now Im obsessed with your Wings AU... thx alot.

i love the idea, but it illustrates the conflict in loki beautifully! but it also makes his breakdown so much more tragic, in this au, where his difference was so much more visible.
