Reviews for Flight of the Twin Eagles
HeartlessLion chapter 13 . 7/18
This is great.

Remember everyone in case you forgot, this is an AU of both Halo and C&C. Besides, this is fanfiction. People write what they want.
Reichenfaust chapter 13 . 7/15
Bullshit, what bunch of mother f'in bullshit, everyone always always always goes along with the whole "ONI put it together themselves at HIGHER levels then leaked it".

ONI theorized the research.
ONI pioneered the experiments.
ONI developed the indoctrination and training plan.
ONI planned the kidnapping and disappearing of children.
ONI RECRUITED scientists like HALSEY to do S-II.
ONI DID ORION.
ONI set up the ODST's so they would be pulped by John.
ONI assassinates anyone not towing their line.

They were going to do the Spartan II program whether or not Halsey was involved, there is clear indication that this was going on, and that there were a BEVY of scientific minds on Halsey's level which could do it.

But NOOOOOOO, let's all FREAK out like the stupid people who wrote the later on books and spartan ops, and give Halsey way more ability with no explanation on how some Rogue scientist pulled one over Admiral Parangosky, AND Lord Admiral Hood. The fact that the creature which controls ONI at this point, is a weaponized, manipulated, high on her own legend, personal protege of Margaret Orlanda Parangosky, is not an indicator to anyone that she is engineering this situation to do what she's always wanted?

Throw Halsey in a cell for not being able to augment her to Spartan II, and blame all of her life's problems on the good doctor...
When it is eminently clear to me, that if ONI HAD ACTUALLY FOLLOWED THE CHAIN OF COMMAND AND SUBORDINATED THEMSELVES TO THE MILITARY, PROPER, then the S-III's wouldn't have died by the dozens, the Outer Colonies would have put up much more resistance, and the war could have been won.

No matter what anyone tries to tell me about why Halsey this, and why Halsey that, I will tell them, go and read "Consequences of Revelation" by Red Mage 04. The nicest thing that could happen to you, after informing an S-II that their "MOTHER" had been arrested, is getting slammed into a wall by 2-1/2 tonnes of augmented flesh and powered metal.

Using Miranda's casual bitchiness towards her mother, to allow her cognitive processes to be overthrown just like Osman, so she WILL blame her for everything really cheapens the character.

Halsey did nothing wrong. She did what she was told to do, because someone else was going to do it regardless, and with both Mendez and her there was actually a chance of putting some human emotion into it. Just stop with the whole bullshit "Halsey was a rogue and she did it all", in the face of GLARING ONI fuckness.

Awesome chapter.
Huh, wonder if the UNSC decides to continue to screw Halsey in the future, she could ask for Asylum in GDI.

Just a Crazy-Man chapter 13 . 7/15
Cool
ThatGuyYouMet chapter 13 . 7/14
This is something. I wonder if there's going to be a spying war between GDI's InOps and the UNSC's ONI?
ThatGuyYouMet chapter 12 . 7/9
Ignore the haters. You're the first person to ever continue writing a crossover that involved command and conquer.

Hey. The UNSC and GDI are gonna buff each other.

Remember everyone, Command and Conquer are very different from Halo as the GDI in this story is an AU version.
Just a Crazy-Man chapter 12 . 6/18
Epic work
edboy4926 chapter 12 . 6/15

Interesting
James chapter 11 . 4/3
I suggest you make your story make more sense and realistic as possible. Overall, this has potential.
Darkfire7881 chapter 1 . 3/24
I just found this story recently, and I must say, it is pretty good. I love the concept and your delivery. However, if i am to be blunt, there are a lot of spelling and grammar issues. This has made it difficult (for me personally) to really enjoy this story. That isnt to say it's not good. I think you have something awesome here and I look forward to read more.
Now if you are interested, I would be more than happy to help edit your chapters for you. PM me on Fanfiction if you are interested.
Otherwise, keep up the good work.
undead3 chapter 4 . 3/19
everything here makes decent sense...idk why save Miranda from decent character death.

sad that i watch the covenant just be entirely universally ineffectual as they have been since Halo 3 really (seriously ODST had them seem more threatening and they were the primary enemy for most the game) they were a decent enemy until Bungie and later 343 decided to make watching them die the Covenant's main (only) selling point.

More i'm interested to see how the Promethean response will be to such a large human fleet, and if some elements of the Scrin or Nod will be making a move in the background. Can't help but imagine just how much of a threat Legion coordinated nano-bot infused Nod agents could be, particularly if we suddenly have random individuals rise from the dead becoming Awakened.
undead3 chapter 2 . 3/18
IDK why but this chapter took forever for me to read...and the writing for this for some odd reason got me thinking of Stellaris and how GDI and Nod post ...that game... would fit into that game fairly easily. I'd hate to acknowledge that game, or anything but I'm still something of CnC Tib universe content starved.

as for this story, i'm not sure why we're going "neo-Nod" considering that besides Kane's "ascension" we fans weren't given for anything after (almost like the plot for IT was some half baked and entirely BS work piggybacking off of Galactica) so I don't see any reason why GDI and Nod even after the event would NOT be inherently hostile towards one another. Much like how a Communist can't call themselves a Communist if they tolerate the existence of a non-Communist, Nod and GDI are both structured to view the entire universe in contradictory lenses with philosophies that inherently refuse to tolerate an outside viewpoint. IE GDI "I'm saving the world and anything that hinders me is threatening the entire world", Nod "The Green Crystal is our evolution and blessing, the world is insignificant next to transformation."

Now this comes a little from the old school fan part when Kane's plan before EA had been to transform earth and turn humanity into a whole new species. But it just feels off to have a Neo-Brotherhood when the Brotherhood itself had evolved so much over the course of time it existed as a major entity (partially due to meta reasons) that it feels like the "Neo" title is just unfitting. Like we had so many sects within it even as far back as the first Command and Conquer that labelling them as a "Neo" group seems unfitting.

GDI on the other hand, great evolution for them. would like to have a bit more of a picture of the Scrin wars because the way it's written they're supposed to be somehow bigger than tib war three, yet are brushed off like the memory of Joseph Stalin by GDI, which leaves some confusion as to the actual scale of the conflicts. Were they for individual solar systems, or along galactic fronts because the tone left that rather uncertain.

as for GDI's subfactions...I'm just happy to see that subject actually addressed more or less by a Fanfiction since so far it's just been "Steel Talons and ZOCOM are awesome look at cool guns"
Chronus1326 chapter 1 . 3/11
