So, you had to make Gilbert take that road again, him rethinking and relieving everything that had happened with Anne, from his first rejected proposal, from the dreams he could no longer dream of about the two of them together, from their future together, up until the moment he went back to take the pearl ring and have it in his possession...

Oh, and this is such a good turning point for Anne and Gilbert, having to keep their engagement a secret, just like Diana and Fred had their engagement kept a secret, when they had gotten engaged !

This is lovely, very, very lovely !

With Anne taking a little while longer to get ready for church, because she wants to look her best in front of a certain someone...

With Dora wanting to know at what age one become an old lady...

With Gilbert finally having the chance to speak with Marilla alone...
