Great writing! I loved your way of describing Billy and how Steve saw him and the messed up relationship they shared (and how it was somehow exactly what they both needed). And then that end line, the way Steve cares for Billy and is hopeful that one day the other boy will come to feel completely safe and secure in his arms to ooen himself to Steve
