I love Elliot’s words/promise to Serena, wish that had happened in the show! I’ve always hated that she died so early in the series because I would have loved to see more of her and Olivia’s dynamic.

Okay, maybe disregard my last review. Maybe. The last bit of this chapter thinks now that Elliot has more of his memory back than he’s letting on. It’s amazing the things you notice on a second read-through. I love this story.

I’m re-reading this for my second time, and I’m noticing things where it almost seems like there’s something wrong with Olivia; like she’s in the hospital and having some sort of coma dream where she’s conflating different events in with her own feelings and how she imagined the situation would be. Maybe she was the one hit by the car and in her coma, she’s switched it to Elliot because she can hear bits and pieces of conversations going on around her and her brain is trying to make the pieces fit. It just seems like you keep foreshadowing something like that. At any rate, I love this.
