Tali and Garrus always seemed to be the perfect couple in ME1. You pretty much nailed it with Garrus becoming darker after his exploits on Omega. Still his old wise cracking self but there was an edge...
But still. Great chapter!

This paragraph, though:
"But Garrus? She'd known him since the SR1. He'd changed, keelah, he'd changed. [...] someone capable of acting with ice in their blood."
That gave me chills. It made me sad for both of them. Those two years were exceptionally tough on poor Garrus, and I love that you included Tali's perspective on that.

As the mother of a young child, this chapter speaks to me on many levels, LOL. :) Shepard is every parent - and Grunt is every toddler. Love it!

This is really great! I really like the thought of this, especially because Grunt spent so much time listening to someone talking in the tank, it makes sense that he'd like to listen to books to sleep.
