Great story!

This was a completely different type of story from all those I've read by this author. Although it's about Kate and Rick, it has no crime, bodies, blood; nor any deep psychological hangups for Kate. It's just a love story involving a meeting and courtship between the two from the start. There is one point of contention between the two (to add some drama. I think you'll be able to recognize it whenever you see it in the story.

Nonetheless, it was no less entertaining and quite continually kept the reader enthralled throughout as do those others by this author.

Still surprised this was salvageable, but they finally worked it out. And all it took was getting rid of Castle!

Nicely judged ending...liked your shy Kate flitting in...and the use of pangolin.

I love bed the quiet reconciliation and the touches of Castle enthusiasm...and the clever Golgotha (had to look it up lol).

Found the v rom com shenannegans engaging and amusing...ohhh will Beckett like his book? V engaging, and difficult to keep us readers engaged to the end of a work. Kudos

A delightful chapter in that it reminded need me of all those rom-cons I love (you’ve got mail etc)...they don’t make them like that anymore lol. I liked that mistakes were stupid but not malicious...and the jokingly sinister suggestions of death to cheer Beckett up were inspired (live your Lanie here). Heartbreaking cliffhanger - too true when the only place you can find to pull yourself and steel yourself is the restroom.

Still trying to work out the diff between wise and jack ass but I’m closer lol! A great read still - the contrast with the Castle date and hers with Rich at Remi’svwored well, and I loved those Beckett eye roll type touched - v deft.
