That was a fantastic end to the story! I felt so bad for Keith though. Nothing worse than getting yelled out by everyone and having the person you respect most disappointed in you. But I’m glad for all that fluff at the end of the chapter!

Ahhhh~! Oh my gosh! I did picture after you told me the prompt that it was likely some sort of weapon, but did not expect it to go down at all like this!

Okay, so from the top. Love how you've set the scene here with Lance and Keith ending up at the mall together. I know from experience being the friend who does not care a lick for shopping how Keith feels right about then. I always have to be bribed with going out to eat after xD Lance is so flipping cute with all of the bags and products and their banter is just A.

I love how Keith just spots that glint of metal from far, far away and is drawn like it to a squirrel. That Orlean sword definitely sounds like quite the beauty and I can see why he wants it. But the price? oooh, boy. Lance trying to talk him out of it was done so well - "I buy my things with *money*! Not fights!" - and Keith is like, nope, I am an awesome swordsman and I cannot lose. I'm getting that sword. Lance has all the right instincts here (love love love the Disney villain bit, omg) and Keith normally has a good set too, but he's so fixated on that sword he isn't listening. Lance is so cute too when he finally goes back to the "storeroom" and his first thought is to alert the authorities because it can't be legal. What a good boy!

I was super curious how the fight was going to go as Keith *is* super awesome but Gediok seemed incredibly confident. Like, as amazing as a sword is (although it sort of sounds like it might have a mind of its own? xD Making me think of Zoro's sword in One Piece that is incredibly bloodthirsty) you can only take it as far as the skill of the wielder. I'm super pissed (but not surprised) that Gediok is cheating. I wonder if he kills his opponents normally or they just sulk off? In any case, that looked like a finishing move and I can understand why both boys would panic. But damn, Lance! Stopping it with your *bare hands?* A blade that Gediok said slices through bone like *that*? Holy quiznak, I am super terrified for the state of his hand right now.

Going to be sitting on the edge of my seat for the second installment of this! (I can see why you wanted to split it!). Thank you so much for doing this challenge with me. It was a heck of a lot of fun and I love how different we both took the prompts, but of course we still both end up with injured Lance xD Oops? (sorry, not sorry). Absolutely love it!
