I am so confused...Like I love Winn being a Badass and and all and letting his genius fully come out on display...but like...is this the start of him being a villian? is he starting down a dark path of no return? I am going to say no...no this was a justified kill and maybe the laugh is creepy but winn deserves that and as long as his family is okay then he should be fine right. I just love that this story made me so nervous though...great plot and you described Winns feelings so good that even if he was going a little dark I fully routed for him.

A friend recommended I read this cuz they know I love stories where heroes/anti-heroes give the bad guys a different kind of justice. You know, I never really thought of having Winn embrace the fact his father is Toyman, and the way they write the show most people have more or less forgotten about that (at least until the new episode promo reminded them). And I love Winn's whole "I'm embracing this darkness to save the people I care about" viewpoint. But then, I like darker hero types to begin with, so...

Anyways, this one definitely earns a fave from me. Great work!

Great story! I wish they would make Winn’s story this interesting! His character doesn’t get enough love! Of course I may be biased as I love Jeremy Jordan.

I saw this first in AO3 and I had to read it again I loved it!
