Awesome conclusion! :) I'm glad Nathaniel is going to get what he deserves, and that they were able to save Alec. And THANK YOU for Jace finally telling Alec about what happened! I'm sure it's going to come out eventually in the show, but meanwhile it's so obvious that keeping secrets is killing them, especially when Alec and Izzy *know* something's up.

But DANG IT, looks like Alec was right to be suspicious! (Which is gonna suck for the next stranger he meets that actually isn't the bad guy, hah, now that his be-suspicious-of-everything attitude has been validated!) Okay, so this is amazing and I NEED to know what happens next. I can't wait! I mean poor Alec but he's strong and resilient so he'll be fine, especially since he's being cared for by the wonderfully glittery Magnus Bane...

Vampires and Werewolves and Warlocks, oh my! :D

I'm not as bad as Alec as far as not trusting newcomers, BUT I'm also not 100% on board with this guy, either. But innocent until proven guilty! I'd still feel better if Magnus would come home, but on the other hand, I just feel better when he's around in general, because I'm partial XD

And I know Jace's... issues... aren't a focal point of this story, but reading that first section does make me wonder where they'll end up taking all that. I've spent so much time in the Supernatural fandom with writers who seem to make their living based on how much emotional anguish they can eke out of the fans that I'm naturally mistrusting now, hahaha, but I certainly hope all that resolves more or less unscathed.

Still not sure what to think about Nathaniel, but I'm excited to read more and find out! :D

As for this fic though, I love all the interactions, from Alec being able to read Luke's admittedly hard-to-read demeanor, to Alec and Magnus's texting (awwwww), to Jace and his volatility. I'm newer to the fandom, but I *adore* the concepts of this show with the Shadowhunters and Downworlders and how they entwine themselves in each other's lives. But what the heck killed that wolf? O.o Ick...

AAAAAHHH! Alec what are you doing trusting this guy? Sure he has a nice name, but you didn't even run a background check on him! You know Magnus would love to help you so call him home now! Izzy fabulous as always. Jace quit whining and talk to Alec or at least Clary. Luke keep up the detective work my man. Magnus, please call Izzy or someone to get a lowdown on the situation so you can shake that glittery booty and get home before you're darling Alexander it Warlock chow!
