My feelings.

At least they had a final happy ending. Sad to see the story end, but yeah, sometimes you just have to let it go and move on. So here's to a new story being born with joy. Thanks for the ride, it was great.

It's odd that Dean has dreams about fishing when he never fishes while he's awake. Those are usually the dreams Cas manages to get into to talk with him. Maybe it's wishful thinking, something peaceful he wants but never gets? It's nice how Cas seems to know what he needs :)

this chapter conveyed many feelings in one. happy, sad, longing, desire. very beautiful.

Glad Dean found a new love :) They'll be on the road again in no time, finding the survivors soon. Would be funny if they were at Skywalker Ranch lol. Has it's own security, solar, well fenced and far enough from downtown to be safer base. (just an idea). Probably only a couple more chapters to look forward to now? It's been a great ride so far!

They are both so damaged it's sad. At least Cas isn't a junkie anymore and Dean is relearning his humanity and caring with Cas. They need to find a nice oasis of safety to rest and recover themselves, before they try to cross the Arizona/Nevada desert stretch, on their way to California. Maybe they'll find a car museum, where Dean can work on one to get it running again, use it as therapy and have transport to continue their trip?

Guess it's expected for Dean to have trouble accepting that he killed Lucifer, not Sam. Sam would have been snuffed out by Lucifer when he took possession, as an archangel, since this time Sam didn't prepare and wouldn't have had the strength to survive the power. Hopefully, Dean will come to realize he wasn't to blame. I like the way Dean is associating Sam with the storm. That's a cool idea.

I liked that speech also. It was powerful and I agree it is appropriate to this chapter. I'm glad the boys are still together, even though they seem to be going through a rough patch currently. Hope they start healing.
