Anyways, I had to read it like two or three times cause there were a lot of stuff in there. XD But those were very interesting, I have to say. You did pretty well. Research definitely paid off.

Kensou and Yuri do seem like a cute pair together. Their date ended up going well, which was nice. :)

This is just my favorite chapter. I remember reading this and thought I'd read it again. XD Kensou and Athena making the perfect deal and it's kinda fair, actually in my opinion. If Kensou wins the match, they go on a date. But if Athena wins, they call it off. Pretty fair right?

Of course, Kensou got the girl of his dreams. I kinda find it cute with Kensou trying his hardest to get Athena as his girlfriend.

Sorry this took so long. Been busy with my own stuff. Once again, not knowing a lot about the Psycho Soldiers (I haven't played a KoF game in years, and even then I never used them), I still found this a pleasure to read. You fleshed out the characters very nicely, and gave them a lot of depth. In particular, I really liked Athena's internal conflict. In the canon KoF story, I don't think she and Sie have ever been anything more than friends (though I know he wants to be more). So I really like the way you made them progress to a couple, and made it seem believable.

Also loved the appearances by other KoF characters throughout. They were each used nicely, and not over or understated. And then that moment where you think Sie slept with Beart, but not really. And I loved how that seg-wayed into Sie and Athena consummating.

Overall, this was entertaining to read. Hope you write again someday.

Agh. Athena's story is sad. :( I mean, I feel for the parents tho. I don't know what I would have done. Like, if I sincerely believed my kid was posessed, and she's doing all kinds of weird shit around the house. I can see how they would take steps to preserve their own lives. But still. :(

I thought I was in for awkward sex. Cuddles are much better XD.

Ok. Great stuff so far. Long chappie, but 100% worth. I feel like kensou has been kind of pathetic for a while, but toward the end of this chapter - when he said "you don't really know me etc... " Oof, that was great. Please, don't go back to being an oaf. Itching to read next chap.

Lol Mai just making Kensou uncomfortable. She's great tbh. And Yuri's little side story with Robert is sweet.

I love it when people kick the sht out of Iori. Nice one Leona. (I'm a terrible Yagami fan #mybby). And lol Ralf being dressed in a tank. That's great. And who's the guy who says he's good but isn't? (Orochi?) . I haven't seen anyone mention k9999 in forever. Kudos.

Wow. That was awk. I'm cringing at the bar scene. Like srs. Y you gonna talk about sex in front of the guy u like?! sht fam. That's a great way to ruin a friendship.

I'm not really a fan of fight scenes in general. Especially since I don't know any of the moves lol. But this one was cool.

Whew... well now, that was a heck of a finale! I'd say everything got wrapped up nice and neat. And yeah, like you said, some plot points got wrapped up rather quick and clean, like the Mignon thing and the parents thing (which I was NOT expecting). But no complaints, seriously. You did great in this last chapter :)

I feel like maybe Chin was right all along, making Kensou go on that date. I mean think about it! Seeing Kensou with another girl gave Athena the fire to FINALLY step up. She kissed him, slept with him, told him she loved him... all that, out of that tiny moment of fear of losing him. Chin helped them come together completely, I think.

I will admit, I don't understand why Athena kept going on and on about the contest lol. To me it felt like the contest grew irrelevant near the end. It's like she was constantly playing mind games with him, and it was kind of unsettling for me : /

All in all, this was a terrific story. You should be proud. Keep up the fine work, friend.

My god... how things flipped all of a sudden! Athena should have quit while she was ahead, but she kept playing around and now Kensou has found another! Gah!

I'm a little bothered by Chin's intervention, but I completely understand. From Chin's perspective, this is just a waste of time and potential; he wants them training to be Psycho Soldiers, not playing out some sappy teen drama.

Once again, I have been fooled into thinking a date went well. Well, I mean... it DID go well... but Mignon is not who she makes out to be! Two-faced! Deceitful! There's always a catch, eh Kensou? Always some reason for you to go running back to Athena in the end.

Whew... what a chapter! This chapter really shows how much they've progressed throughout the story. What a journey it's been. They've evolved so much, from partners to reluctant dates, to... this.

So THAT'S the great mystery. Her religious freak of a mother couldn't deal with a little purple hair? What a bitch! So what if she makes a few things float? I mean, cmon... well, at least she turned out okay in the end. She made it on her own, without their help ;)

Whooooooa that intimacy. I thought it was going to happen for a second there! Ahh but that was a sweet ending anyways, even with her getting cold feet. And Kensou got some more points finally! Wooooooo! SOmetimes I forget that's a thing still lol.

LOL. Cool idea to include the classic Female Team. Mai Yuri and King always know how to have a good time, and they sure spiced up Athena and Kensou's little game ;D

That fight tho... DANG. If the last fight was epic, this one cranked it up to infinity. This felt like an anime battle, one of the top notch ones that drag out for 30 episodes and gets interrupted by a filler arc. That was some high-flying Psycho action!
