I have trouble feeling sympathy for Barriss, she has done too many bad things for her to deserve it, and serves an empire that has done much worse.
Just because Palpatine isn't at the helm, it isn't much improved, the empire was suffused with terrible people doing terrible things.

I feel like the jedi master wasted her life.

A mosnter can totally feel regret and shame etc. but either use it to reationalise their behavior, or are capable of compartmentalising.

I love the concept of this fusion of the cannons. So many possibilities.
Is crazy clone C’boath written out due to the new imperial Jedi?
Will Thrawn still be taken out like a chump without him driving Leia and the Noghri together?
How mad is the Emperor going to be next year when he comes back to find Jedi have got back into his empire?
What will Luke do with all his free time now the Imperial’s aren’t throwing up a Sith every year or so?
Most importantly which Jedi Order will Mara Jade join?
