Naw. I too think Helga isn't quite ready to let anyone but Arnold (and by extension Phoebe and Gerald) see that side of her for fear of losing the respect she commands out of fear. I absolutely loved their exchange at the end here. Arnold is understanding enough to put up with the show she puts on now that he knows what she's really like.
If you look closely, I think the simple implication at the end of TJM was that Arnold is still kind of clueless when it comes to girls. Gerald offers Phoebe his hand, which she takes, whereas Arnold just sort of grabs Helga's. But then of course after she rebukes him and walks away she smiles rather smugly which said to me she's enjoying him chasing her instead of the other way around for a change.

Wow, I just love this story! I think it's a great to describe not only something that happens immediately after The Jungle Movie, but to have it between Arnold and Helga since we'd like to know more about what went on between them after their kiss. I think bringing Dr. Bliss here was an excellent idea, too, especially because she'd be happy for Helga that Arnold has reciprocated her love. And not just that, but that the couple can talk more about their feelings since Helga is afraid to be open about them, but Arnold assures her that she has nothing to fear with him around, and that he will understand that she needs time to gain confidence about this.
