First, why doesn't this have hundreds of reviews? This is an amazing story! Beautifully written, engaging plot, characterization on spot...I truly hope you continue this outstanding story.

Geez. Their connection is so beautiful. I love the way you write it. It's heart wrenching and so tragically beautiful. I found the way you weaved in their personal perspectives into the specific events of the show engaging. I liked that when you were rehashing scenes we'd seen before that you primarily stuck to an inner dialogue. It gave it something that the show can't always give or at least doesn't focus on. Kudos to you.

Now this is how it should've gone down!

I love your treatment of Lotor as such a tragic character here. As much armor (and anger and ambition) as he's surrounded himself with, the fragile core revealed earlier is broken open here. I love the nearly psychic connection between them. (Also, him riding with her in her lion. Like, I am seriously 100% behind that XD)

The ending here was so sweet and poignant! Can't wait to see where this is going!

I *love* the comm scene you added (Allura imagining a shirtless Lotor made me giggle) XD

And him escorting her up the stairs! (like I did a doubletake with the actual scene and had to watch it twice) I love what you added here; I feel like Allura *would* enjoy being treated like a princess (because the other paladins sure aren't going to do it!)

But what really got me in this chapter (of course!) was the final scene outside the temple, both Lotor soberly musing about Allura's radiant light and his failure AND Allura showing him what she'd learned and experienced. It was a perfect, beautiful climax to this part (I was waiting for it, with your tease at the beginning-it did not disappoint!) So well done!

Ahhhh, I love the scenes you've filled in here, giving us a glimpse into Lotor's calculating mind (and yet, not as cool and unaffected as he seems!) as well as Allura's guardedness. Perfectly "Fanfare and Prelude" indeed!
