I found this chapter so bittersweet, since it's the last chapter for awhile. Please write more. It's so good.

It was nice reading about Lu Ten, especially since there's not much if any of him in canon.

I really like your writing style. I'm curious to see what path you'll take Katara down, what she will experience and how she will react to it. (It also helps that I love Zutara pairings, I can't help it lol) Can't wait to start Ch 2 and move onward!

This chapter I really like, how both kids are teasing each other and wanted to show who is right. I am smiling even now when I am writing this comment :)

All of these characters that you have in your story are written so well, at the beginning you don't know what to expect and you need to read about them more to get a whole picture. At first I thought that Zuko will not be friend of Katara, but I am glad that I was not right. ( at least I hope :) )

If I were Katara, I would definitely be overwhelmed by Iroh's place, food and whole palace. Everything was so new to her and especially after all the bad things that happened to her. She was so strong.

I think Iroh is likeable character from beginning ( I hope there isn't a dark twist later :) ) . In some way so different from his father.

"Get up brat. Before I make you." I was so pissed when I read it. Who is saying this to small girl. I would kick them so hard that they could not get up.
At least Yao was nice, gave her instructions and so.

Aw is ZuZu jealous I think so. This was a great chapter.

Poor Katara. I can't imagine losing a parent. I'm glad Zuko and Iroh are with her.

That Ozai really grinds my gears. Nice political intrigue.

Aw precious dorks. I hope they spend more time together.

You paint such detailed pictures with your words, it's wonderful.

I'm glad Katara got to meet Ursa. I always thought it was a pity we didn't see more of her in the show. They better not stop hanging out just because of Ozai.

I really liked how you portrayed Katara's childish curiosity, her overwhelmed reactions and caring approach of Iroh :)
Nice to meet Zuko. He seems to be a nice boy and I enjoyed reading about his childhood and his sister. I hope Zuko and Katara will become friends. :)
It was really funny how both kids met and tried to tease each other. Both of them wanted to appear stronger and without fear or doubts :)
