Regardless, I’m almost at the end of binging the 49 chapters, and holy SHIT, this story is good. At first, I was confused and apprehensive (“What? But what about Jaune? Who is this cloaked person? ‘Wrath’? The hell kind of name is ‘Wrath’”). Then I caught on (“Oooooh! They *are* Jaune! All of them! Some good ol’ MPD, eh? Niiice!”).

Absolutely brilliant. I believe that I’ll enjoy the next 7 chapters just as much as the previous 42. Thank you for creating this fanfic.

I'll be honest, I've been struggling to get this far. The dark themes are just too over the top, and the constant REVENGE is just painful. I have enjoyed the writing itself, but the constant "We're assholes" thing is frustrating. Thank you for writing this, but it's not for me.1

okay up to c33 so far, but figured I'd review in sequence for any thoughts...

first: WTF is bullism? I'm struggling to mentally re-read it as "bullying". Bullism keeps making me think of *ebullism*, which is formation of gas bubbles in bodily fluids.
Per Wikipedia: [Ebullism] occurs because a system of liquid and gas at equilibrium will see [] conversion of liquid to gas as pressure lowers, such as at high altitude.

AKA decompression sickness, also known as the bends.

second: as I'm only up to c33/c34, I have caught that there's only ever one wraith about... however, I'm hoping for a 'reveal' that they really aren't Jaune dressed up in black garb and mask... and really *are* magical constructs or demons or something literally *born from his mind*, and as such are somewhat human physically but still, and hence why they have his semblance, otherwise that scene in c32 with Ruby really takes the cake. and it can't all be a big 'prank' on his part, as implied by the just-before-he-was-expelled scene of him making the scythe.

Third: Meida? Really?

Fourth: God help those like the Tears (if there's any left alive), because Death, Jaune and Ruby wont when Tai hears about all the shit going on in Beacon. That's my current headcanon for why that tears guy was still alive - Tai doesn't know that his youngest was almost raped [multiple attempts, and so far, no word on if there had been any *successes*, though the C32 bit suggests to me that nope, as unlucky as she was, Ruby was really lucky that it never got that far.]

Fifth: On the one hand, i like how you took basic things of their interactions, what we've seen in the show, and run them to their full conclusion... but I don't, because RWBY is one of my favourite shows and while its not strictly character bashing (aka not making shit up to make them look bad) its still... you know.

Sixth... um. In the description about jaune's family, I tried tracking the times, and somehow got: "They died when he was 12"... was a bit tired when I got that part.
did pick up immediately on the inherited physical traits from the task photo... and did NOT see the t from tasktorchwick.

one idea I saw in another fic (in the kingdoms service, coeur al aran) was that Torchwick and Oobleck were on the same team at beacon, mix with this, and I now have the idea of Torchwick, Oobleck, Daddy Arc and future-momma Arc being on the same team.
