So, there are 3 people who more or less know the future? Or I should say know the future through first hand experience instead of being told a rather vague story/dream. So far Aaron, Alex and James fall in the former category while Washington and Eliza fall into the second right? Although, Theodosia also seems to know for a fact that she and Aaron were married with a daughter? How does that work? Does she also know the future or only bits and pieces, or perhaps only her former future with Aaron?

Wait a second, J? Can't be John, I doubt he could've kept it a secret that long. My guess would be Jefferson actually. Though I suppose I can't be sure till after the war.

THIRD, Alex can remember but only partly? What a nice twist!
FOURTH, HELLO MADISON!

It was Madison! I totally called it! (Along with almost half of the rest of the Hamilton cast (there are a lot of J’s) but still!). And Alex knows! But only at night which makes for an interesting plot device, and it means that you can have lighthearted ‘new friendship’ conversations between Burr and Alex during the day and then more serious ones between two people with a lot of history during the night. It’s like having your cake and eating it too.
Anyway, this chapter was great, the Charles Lee section was very entertaining and I really liked the Alex and Madison reunion/restart. And of course, Burr got married to Angelica, completely neglecting Theodosia (I wonder how their next conversation will go) but I don’t mind. Also saw a hint of Lafayette/Peggy. I have no idea where that ship came from, but it’s cute so I’m not complaining. Does anyone know where it started?
Glad to see another chapter. I think that it was worth the wait and please come out of hiding soon, but don’t stress about getting the next one out too quickly. Regardless, happy new year everyone, may the best of your today’s be the worst of your tomorrow’s and have a good year.

JEFFERSON?!

Oh wow. Wow, wow, wow! Ok, to state the question on everyone’s mind, who is J? I can think of a couple. John Laurens, John Adams, Thomas Jefferson, James Madison, James Reynolds, James Hamilton Jr and Sr. Hmm. Ok. Laurens is almost certainly not, because he’s already had contact with Burr and hasn’t seemed to remember (plus he called Burr his friend). John Adams and James Reynolds in the musical didn’t have any contact with Burr, plus it’s unlikey to be either of them. It’s practically impossible for it to be James Hamilton Jr and Snr (Alexander’s father and brother) because they’re not mentioned in the musical by name, and why would they know who Burr is, or care to send him a letter? Madison or Jefferson seem most likely, especially since whoever it is isn’t a friend or foe, so either could definitely work. My bets are currently on Madison or Jefferson. Also, who else could remember. The letter mentions that others do too. We’ve already met Theodosia, so are the ones who remember background-ish characters? How would it change the story if Maria Reynolds or Phillip or anyone on my ‘who is J?’ list remembered their last lives? It’s given me plenty to think about. Don’t worry about school keeping you busy, as I said before, school comes before fan fiction! All of that aside, this has been another great chapter, and you made a great choice ending it where you did. Fantastic chapter!
