I’m loving this story! My heart was breaking for Jackson, his thoughts and feelings towards April and her wedding day. Jackson thinking back to when he first met April, when he first realized he loved April in the way that made his heart beat fast, then the times he wanted to confess but couldn’t. I was yelling out loud just tell her already! And yet he didn’t..
Honestly I like this version better, how Jackson didn’t stop the wedding and it was all April’s choice, her decision. Her realizing that she shouldn’t marry a guy that she really didn’t love with all her heart. I’m sure she loved Matthew but not the kind of love she felt for Jackson. I always didn’t like that on the show. I always thought April marrying Matthew was wrong just because Jackson didn’t give her a reason for her not to marry Matthew. April was in a sense using Matthew and he didn’t deserve that. Anyways...
Back to this story, I can’t wait to read the next chapter, I’m so excited!

Chapter 2 - loved the story from April POV. Bless her writing April Avery because she has a crush on Jackson from the beginning.
They are so compatible and complement each other beautifully, have such connection and care for each other - it is touching and rare. All these almost moments that they miss for one reason or another. As she says Jackson is her ‘what-if’...
Love their banter “I always get my way” “Because I let you”...they obviously adore each other - everyone but them can see it and assume they are more than friends.
She really did leave it to the last moment to runaway...but wonderful moment when she finds Jackson.
I enjoy reading this so much. Cannot wait to read the last chapter.

Chapter 1...OMG this was amazing. So beautifully written. I totally recognise Jackson and April in this.
I was screaming the whole time - speak up Jackson - speak up...I really thought the wedding would go through and the following chapters would be how they get together years later.
Mark Sloan is a star - God we could have used him on the show s12 onwards to talk some sense into Jackson...Anyway he is so sly to give April the speech when he knows Jackson is too afraid to come forward and risk her happiness. April has probably felt the same all these years but didn’t think Jackson felt the same way so she settled with Matthew (sounds familar).
Anyway love what Japril share - all the memories, they know each other inside out, care for each other more than anything and anyone. I see there are 2 more chapters - hope we get to see how their lives continue after this. Love your writing.
