Instead of Connor chasing Kara and Alice across the highway, it would have been better if you've wrote Lara as the one who deliberately did it. Say she chased them till there not because she's hell-bent in catching them but because she's worried they might actually die (Kara and Alice). that could have added more depth in Lara's android-caring characteristic. The way you've wrote it felt like it was rushed and lacking. hope you won't take offense from this. I'm enjoying the flow of your fanfic so far only some parts felt lacking especially on the OC.

The use of parallelism in this chapter is absolutely amazing! It really makes you understand what Lara and Connor are going through.
