the whole conversation where klaus tells caroline to stop worrying about the time they wasted as friends when they could've been in a relationship...that even if they didn't get together romantically, he'd still want her in his life...that he values the connection they have regardless...was beautiful.

I loved this story so much! Your dialogues are incredible. They feel so natural and express such an intimacy between Klaus and Caroline, much more than the smut lol (which was great too, don't get me wrong). I love a good dialogue, stories that are heavy on it are always my favorite, and you certainly have an incredible way with yours! I loooove your Caroline! She feels absolutely in character even in AU stories like this.
