Everyone was perfectly in character (although I think Rei might have defended Granpa as well), great story, you're an amazing author!

Two goals achieved, I’d say. And Tyson’s grandpa is such an under-appreciated character, I was so stoked to find this story about him and the really positive things he does bring to the Bladebreakers/G-Revs.

I don't know which rock I was under that I didn't read this story until now. This was good. Really really good. Kai, Tyson and Grandpa Granger were very well written and it so in with their characters. I especially loved how you changed the Narrative POV ever so stealthily. At first it was from Grandpa's, then from Kai's and then oscillating between Kai and Tyson. The whole fic was evenly narrated - not many explanations than needed and descriptions enough to ensure the best flow of thought. In short, it was awesome. And of course it's going in my favourite list. And even the idea of throwing a light on Kai's life with Voltaire and showing his pain was very beautiful - if I am allowed to use the word for it. We really need more of such fics in our fandom which are not only romances and fluffs.
Do write some more fics soon ;)

It was amazing just like your other fics, And I reallly admire your writing style, hope I can write like that one day, everyone was in character even when Kai was being emotional it didn't felt like its you know uhhh unnecessary (i forgot the right word for it hehe :P) it was the need of the situation, I looking forward to more of your stories -
