I love flashbacks and how the story goes in general, however I can't help but think that Catelyn kills Jon for this and Ned will be sooo annoyed

Reading your story reminds me of something a creative writing teacher told me in college “don’t use 3 words when 1 word can say the same thing”

Thoughts are you spent one and a half chapters saying the same thing over and over again. "We did it, wow" was all that happened last chapter, and the first half of this. Not even 28k words in two years, so I don't know why I'm even saying anything, but come on.

I don't understand their stubbornness in not telling the truth (or at least part of it) to Ned, Jon knows the truth about his parents (and his real name?) just that should convince Ned that they are telling the truth even without telling the whole truth Jon could very well say that he had green dreams or dragon dreams.
Speaking of dragon Jon will he have one?
And as others have said, not sure that a consummate marriage would make the situation better since Ned don't know that Jon and Sansa know they are cousins and not sibling, And I can't even imagine Cat's reaction.
Otherwise I like flashbacks but only one or two per chapter.

Ned just happens to overhear?

You do realise that castle walls are incredibly thick and doors solid to keep the warmth in? Therefore Ned wouldn’t overhear them.

How the fuck does them marry solve any of their problems with Ned?
At the moment they are siblings, so if they marry and consummate it is an incestuous relation -

Something heavily frowned upon in the North and has the potential to heavily hurt the reputation of the
Starks if it comes out - and it will because like Ned said Sansa has a lot of offers for a betrothal who Ned then has to decline and if he doesnt explain why he denies them it can be seen as a slight.

Then there is Catelyn to consider - she will murder Jon and more than likely tell her family and possibly little finger of this. Destroying any good-will of her Tully relatives ...

And that is not even considering the fact, that since Robert wants to merge the Starks and Baratheons their absolute idiotic action means Arya will have to be betrothed to Joffrey.

And what do they think Ned is gonna do? He surely wont take this sitting down (daughters a bargaining chips for the head of the house to trade away) - So chances are he is gonna force Jon to take the black and renounce Sansa this way ...

Lets face it the only way they can get away with that is if they tell him the truth and for that, there was no marriage necessary ... it, on the contrary, might even complicate matters because now with them married they have a reason to lie to Ned to not be separated so he might not believe them ...

Seriously what are they thinking and what about those incredibly detailed plans of them ... since they came back the only thing they did was screw up over and over again and instead of trying to salvage the situation, they dug themselves even deeper into the shit ...

And to be honest their behavior towards each other is ridiculous if they were married in their past life probably for years after they stopped the long night why are they behaving like some newly enamored teenage couple.
Both of them should have a far better self-control than what is shown here -
Jon through his years of emotional abuse at the hands of Catelyn and the discipline as a battle-hardened veteran to keep his hands and gazes in check ...

And that goes even more for Sansa who was a hostage in Kings landing where she had to guard every single reaction and be cautious of every word she spoke. She survived this pit of vipers and in this story, it took her a minute to lose her temper to berate her mother.
Even the naive Sansa at the very beginning of being a hostage would have done better than this ...

It is like you substituted them both and all their experiences with little children ... where is their cunning their supposed experience their meticulous plans?

Sorry to say this - but this chapter pretty much killed this story for me ... there is not much you can do IMO to come back from this without make Ned fall in line with some stupid plot idea that wont make any sense ...

hate the flashbacks, but i like the rest, can't wait for the next chapter

Yay! They’re married again. I can’t wait to see everyone’s reaction. Hopefully, they will tell Lord Starkstart the truth. Maybe he will be able to help them.
