I’d like to see you write this one. I see the potential for crack-fic, but I also see potential for Tom making an honest effort to straighten out the mess the Basilisk made of his ambitions. Perhaps by allying with Harry, but without the romantic and dark elements that tend to permeate stories where the two work together to escape society’s expectations?

You really do have original story ideas. Combining the semi-official gentlemanly foreign affairs of the pre-WWI era with the Wizarding World through two Marauders sounds like a great adventure story.

Oh, I want more on this story! Deportment? Are these girls being taught to correct unmannerly behavior forcefully? Beyond the typical knee him and run?

Messieur?!;D I love reading/re-reading you; it would appear that you and I agree entirely about the quality-or lack there of-and substance of the writing of canon HP. I've read and adored your 'Sophistry and Dialectic': It's intelligently thought out and written for people with a brain, who aren't afraid to use it!
Now, having read all four 'teasers', it may disappoint you that this first one is the one I'm most interested in seeing continued: The premise is intriguing and I'm very curious to know just what Harry called forth to 'clear the field', as it were.;D
In #2, I can see where the idea for Hermione's backstory might come from; especially by way of canon, but I really like Hermione-even with her prickles and starchiness-; I just didn't like the way Rowling used her and her ending up with Ron just made me mad!:D
#3 Again, how Rowling threw him in and threw him out, was reminiscent of the way she threw around 'fan-girl' Ginevra and then expected us to accept a 'love match' (gag!) with Harry! But I'm still not a huge fan of Remus': He was a good little 'doggy' to Dumblefuck and allowed way too much leeway to the Marauders, in school; they then threw him overboard on Dumble's say-so!
#4 Sorry, I'm also not a huge fan of any of the Marotters and the old 'cloak and dagger' or undercover into danger doesn't excite me.
I am looking forward to reading the story you've hinted at on your profile, "Follow the Light": Spotlighting the extremes in canon is right up my alley! There are so very many of them!

This is an intriguing start, especially given the ideas you said you were wanting to play with. What has Harry accidentally conjured up this time? I always did wonder why Harry allowed himself to be tortured in canon. He made no efforts to find a way around it.
