Is clockwork the ghost of Rassalon?

It's not often somebody gets to one up The Doctor. I wonder if he will ever meet rick and morty

I liked it. Any plans for a sequel? Or was this just a writing experiment?

This was pretty good! I really like the idea of Danny exploring the cosmos through the ghost portal, and I especially like how you gave Danny a level of expertise. So often the Doctor is written as all-knowing, so Danny having a completely different understanding of time-travel gives their meeting a lot more weight than it would have otherwise. At least that was the part that interested me most. If you ever do a continuation, I would love to see how you reconcile the two views of time-travel, or what Clockwork and the Doctor think of each other!

In terms of writing, I do think this story was a bit too wordy. The biggest problem being overly describing what's happening. For example, the line: "A British accent came through with the statement". We learn that the Doctor has an accent when Danny points it out, so its not necessary for you to tell us there, if at all. It's uncomfortably tagged on to the paragraph. Over description in that vein, along with some oddly formal word choice like "statement" and "conduct damage control" breaks the flow of reading.

I do like your fleshing out the alien world though. It makes Danny traveling through space feel important, and real. It gives the story some flavour - I especially like the twin suns.

Please continue this! I am always wishing for more fanfics in this category, but it seems like a lost cause. Your story made my day ).

can you please make a second one-shot out of the doctor's perspective?
because this is an awesome fic, perfect amount of backgroud and the doctor is not an easy character to write but this was really good.
