Oh my goodness, this chapter was absolutely heartbreaking. I'm so proud of Jason for not giving up the fight, no matter how hard it is. The way you wrote this was so believable, the level of emotions that everyone is going through. I particularly liked Roy's texts- now /that/ is a best friend. The flashback that Jason had- so now we finally know what went down. It took me a moment to actually make sense of what was happening, since it's been a while since I read the rest of the fic, but it all came back to me (most of it anyway.) Excellent job!

Omg.. poor Jay-Jay. And Poor Bruce, that was one hell of a heart to heart and one they never would have had if Jay wasn’t currently I’ll and fighting for his life. The Who second third of that story had me bawling- hopefully now things can get better for Jay and Bruce and they can figure out how to be Father and Son again.

Love this story. My mother struggled with her breast cancer, and alot of what you've written here brings up alot of feels, especially the part about when his hair started falling out. that was a turning point for our family too...like omg this is really happening. Just wanted to say I'm glad you're still writing this. As long as you keep typing'em up, I'll keep coming back to read lol (and possibly reread through it so I remember where I left off XD)

Dang. I really love this perspective you have going on here. The family side, who usually want to just do anything to make a person better and the struggles the person who is sick is dealing with. Really nice job. I am sorry about your dog. I just lost mine on Halloween as well, and we think she had cancer too.
