Nice story and hopefully this will get continued.

This is a good story and I've always wanted Naomi paired with Bit instead of Brad. Hope this story continues.

It's been a while since I delved into the Zoids fandom. I'm glad I started with this fic. I like the idea of Bit branching out on his own, him teaming up with a new partner, and the thought that the Ultimate X's might influence their pilots.

Plus, it's always fun to screw with canon a little and see what you make of it. Naomi/Bit pairing? Love it!

I'd love to see this continue, if only for the reunion battle between the Stars and the Blitz Team. It's well written and makes you want to stick around. Great stuff!

Sometimes I like peeking into underused fandoms for fiction precisely like this. You're filling out the universe in ways the base franchise never did, and putting light onto the characters past the frame.

The economics and politics of team fights like this are hard to brain out but the Battletech literature offers a good synopsis of it - the wandering Mercenary forces really are a lot like Zoid teams, barring the rules are firmer and the consequences of loss noticeably more deadly. Looking over some of that can help ground you in the shifting territory that is contract engagements, but that's just a suggestion - you're doing fine as it stands.

I know a lot less about romance, but I will note that sexual tension is a lot easier to spark and maintain when there's only two people there. If the Stars ever expand their roster, it'll place an entirely new strain on that relationship. Equally, since formation they've only experienced victory (granted, it's only been the one tournament). It's easy to be gracious when nothing's being lost.

Mostly, I'm glad to see that one of the few authors that balance plot and character development is still kicking around. Good stuff, mate.

So it seems Bit does suffer some PTSD after that incident from Leena's Weasel Unit Total Assault he managed to survive. Not that I blame him from how badly hurt he was and very lucky to be alive.

Thankfully he still pulled through and helped Naomi win their against the other teams in the free for all team fight. Naomi was clever in waiting for someone to spring the trap before making her move and Bit did a good job keeping as himself alive and a focus of attention for the others in the battlefield. Damn good thing Liger Zero is very agile compared to Shield Liger and Blade Liger.

Their party was well earned for them all and the money with feather beds is a VERY nice change of pace. Looks like they had a night of passion as well once they got to their room for some privacy~

So Brad and Jamie tried fighting the other team as a two person team and lost big. Leena being pissed at the fact her zoid is still down and Leon who came back with his Shield Liger is badly damaged. So both need repairs and it'll take weeks before both are ready.

Naomi and Bit meanwhile made it to their latest tournament. With Bit seeing how beautiful Naomi is without meaning too. Woman knew she had it alright and the way she dresses shows it, while allowing maximum movement. A real redhead cowgirl look if you will.

The Tigers seem angry for running into Bit again, but what can you expect? Love how his clueless act flawlessly riles up his enemies.

Bit and Naomi had a bit of pressure with how the enemies focused on Naomi at first, but thankfully gave Bit the opening he needed to down the command wolf before taking out the Rev Raptor. I guarantee all three of those pilots are cursing the fact they let the big one catch them off guard like that by focusing on the smaller zoid with a well known pilot.

Nothing worse than wild cards you don't know anything about after all.

Hot damn it is good to see Naomi found Bit before anyone else, plus the little misunderstanding of her intentions that old couple thought she was looking for Bit for. All this time he wanted someone to understand and accept him, as well as his Zoid. No one on the Blitz team did, so they are paying for it with Naomi swooping in and taking him for herself.

Not that I blame her, she was right to find it annoying how right Leena was about her being too specialized in one thing. She is a pro at a sniper, but has relied on her own skills alone for far too long. She may have had teammates out of those rookies, but she only used them as bait and a distraction for the enemy. So with someone capable like Bit Cloud who is now debt free and has legally bought the Liger Zero, she has someone who she can count on to watch her back.

Surprising Laon who planned on using the kid, but now is MORE than happy to help Bit out on leaving the Blitz Team and get on Team Stars, unless Naomi and Bit agree on another name. That dude's salt levels toward Toros is legendary for those who live on the world of Zoids. Not sure why he bothers, Toros is practically a man child for the most part and NOT someone you should trust with money, his daughter is little better.

Oh the look of rage Leena has for her one sided humiliating defeat is GOLDEN~ Even more so as she sees Bit has left the team and her father is not going to try to challenge it. As he is right, legally speaking they CAN'T hold Bit or his Liger Zero into their team against his will anymore now that he legally bought the Liger Zero. Plus no debt from the three armors because Toros never bought them yet~

Well shit...I feel bad for Bit being injured bad as he was, that'll make moving around a total bitch. Never mind actually salvaging or possibly dealing with Laon if things get physical. So far he seems friendly enough as he is learning more and more how much trouble Bit has with the Blitz Team.

Naomi however, YES! I was so waiting to see how she would fight Leena and arrogantly ran off blazing hell on the highest peak. Did she really think Naomi would be so stupid as to use the SAME tactic twice? No, while she wants the high ground she will NOT take the obvious tallest mountain to snipe from.

It's like Kakashi once said. If the bait is obvious, don't take it.

Leena gobbled it up without a second thought, earning two bullets into her gunsniper just before both of her anchors could attach to the ground and used up SO much ammunition. That is gonna sting both their prides and their wallets. Now if only that one sided slaughter was seen by viewers~

Fortune seems to be hopefully spinning Bit's way as Naomi now knows he is off in Romio City on away from his team after an argument with Leena. Not that she blames Bit at all, an entitled princess is a good description of Leena honestly from what I've seen in the series. Maybe now he can be on a team with Naomi in the near future! That will be interesting~

Interesting...seems Naomi is rather very annoyed with Leena for sure now. Bit did MUCH better this time against Jack than he normally would have. Even taking out the Cannon Tortoises before luring Jack back to the others. Sadly Leena's reckless shooting got Bit's Zoid damaged, but thankfully Brad was able to finish the fight with a well placed shot I believe.

Me feel Naomi will be wanting to make Leena learn humility for this. I love how silently protective Naomi seems to be towards Bit. Both as she silently called someone an ass for his remark about unfriendly fire and her own silent anger at Leena for shooting up Bit's zoid without thought of his safety.

Leena is showing how devious and annoying she can be, using Bit to get Henry to leave her alone and then assuming they're fighting for her in the Zoid battle... Granted, Henry is, but not Bit. He has eyes on a MUCH better woman in more than one way!

I did like how Naomi was discreetly trying to gain information on Bit's Zoid to avoid surprises for her planned rematch with him one day and Jamie was all nervous with her. I don't blame him, she is a real beauty compared to Leena by miles. Which leads to Naomi's, Bit's, and Jamie's first impression of Leena's gunsniper.

Bit was completely right. Leena doesn't have Naomi's dedication, poise, focus, or the body honestly that Naomi does. Leena's gunsniper is a complete mockery to any pure gunsniper pilots who prefer to snipe down their enemies from afar. Fully loaded up on missiles, machines guns, and a weasel unit. Good for mass destruction, but definitely slower and less jumping ability compared to Naomi's own gunsniper.

I wonder how Naomi will beat Leena in a one on one fight...Will it be a straight out shot down from afar before Leena can even notice Naomi? Or will the match start a game of hide and seek mixed with a bit of hit and run? Two tempting ideas I'm sure Naomi is already considering.

So interesting to see Bit have a run in with Naomi as he's looking for a new gun that Liger can use. Even dealing out some parts to get credits for it and after getting caught staring at Naomi by the pop of the mom and pop shop. Not that blame Bit one bit honestly, Naomi was my first crush of anime characters ever. I mean she is truly one hell of a woman! Independent, kind, beautiful, strong willed, a warrior at heart, and can show a gentle side that draws you in.

Enough about Naomi though, Bit got back and was surprisingly able to get Doc to sell him the Liger Zero. Having enough of being treated as bottom of the totem pole by Brad's harsh holier than thou attitude and Leena's attitude that looks down on him. Let's face it, anyone would be upset at such treatment and you're trying to help the team in your own way that you know best.

I like your story and it has become top tier. Battles and technical details make a large part of what Zoids is Zoids.
