Very nice story and perspective about Shika. He's a really interesting character and in the canon he's deeply affected by the war.

You've created such a wonderful One-shot.
The PTSD Shikamaru's going through is very believable and real, and I liked how you hint that, despite all his analytical mind, he can't understand why he's not moving on from the war and all the wrong things.
Then Sakura has to check on him, and he doesn't know how to feel, because he's somehow relieved and at the same time so angry and wary that someone's "invading" his personal space.
I liked how collected and calmed she was when she witnessed his episodes for the first time, and even with all her strength, she didn't pushed him nor hurt him (I think that's what makes her such a great medic).
The smut, oh my, caught me a little off guard cause I wasn't expecting it, but I'm all for it.
And then denial, and the lies he's grown so accustomed to tell, how he has made this barriers, and finally he finds that Sakura can see through his armor, his lies, and instead of judging, decides to carry the weight of his suffering with him.
So well paced, detailed and interesting.
