I am enjoying this story its a good SI though the Web chapters did confuse me. I hope you update again soon, also I was wondering about Laura because she was a decent part of a couple chapters and important as those chapters showed Jake losing his eye. I hope you update soon!

honestly the glasses being needed post-bite is like a giant neon sign that both spells out and has audio screaming "author ignoring logic here because he wants glasses to be a thing for reasons"

right off the bat his eyesight not being better makes zero sense. every part of his body got supped up exponentially beyond human limitations. muscles. bones. the tendons and ligaments needed for the muscular skelatal system to function. his skin microscopically mutated to be able to climb glass. his nervous system has been boosted to beyond neo-like bullet time. which means his brain must have changed to be able to both process his enhanced senses at fractional speed and run his enhanced body as well. but after his entire cellular structure has been practically rebuilt, the eyes are still his pre-bite baseline defective human eyes for which he he still needs glasses? on what planet does that make sense?
what, you're telling me spiderman needs lasik?
how the hell is he supposed to use those web shooters when he can't see what he's aiming for? maybe in cqc he can get by against the baseline humans with small knives. but even just swinging through the city he has to be able to see the things he's aiming to hit. literally hitting targets a couple hundred feet away is necessary to web swing. at the beginning, it should be impossible because since he's onew to doing it he's not relying on experience or earned instinct yet.
the rest of this was interesting. i wish you had made clear what universe this is supposed to be. MCU with the xmen movies on the side? something else? a random assortment of hodgepodgery?
as terrible as the moment was, the way you made Uncle Ben an original motivator, and peter as well as the rules he laid down on pete's involvement were very well done. peter feeling the need to help only after having a different epiphany than his usual dead-uncle schtick made perfect sense.

I can't understand his mentality. He didn't want to the spiders powers but once he did he wants to be hero?

if he was gonna live a normal life if he didn't have powers, he can still live a normal life with his powers, no one is forcing him.

Although living a normal life in a world with super villains and alien invasions is asking to get killed.

if it was me I'd try to get as powerful as possible.

so he's gonna be a hero huh. ah well I hope he is not become like peter.
despite him being a genius, although not on level of Reed Richards, Pym etc
he is still a genius.

but because of his super heroing and all the responsibility crap that Uncle Ben fed him, he lived his life miserably.

he could have used his brain to earn money first which would have also helped him in Hero business.
heck the spider web he could also have been used to make products, that had both civilian and military use. with the money he could have used some high tech stuff.

anyway I hope Jake does it better with Peter as his side guy in chair.

also I hope he acquires some more powers that are easily available if planned right.
super serum, the bulletproof skin formula, Ivanko's tech, Tony's reactor. (Obadiah Stane easily stole his old suit)
vibranium from Ulysses Klaue. etc all the gokd stuff

Although Peter might not be able to create the reactor from scratch he could still create a suit.

Confirmo, Jake me agrada como spider man. El problema viene cuando es Jake, no lo veo nada interesante y lo peor de todo es que parece demasiado tonto.

La historia me gusta, pero sería mejor si Jake no fuera tan tonto, o que no dependa de Peter todo el tiempo.
