This was a great story, with some nice explanation of how Hermione and ron’s and Harry
and ginny’s relationships ended. I’d have liked to have seen a little explanation of the
differences (ones I agree with btw) of how Sirius, Remus and Tonks’ survived etc.

Other than that, a great story all round .

I’m surprised I never reviewed the first two chapters.

Harry’s Birthday party was nice, even though he had a certain unease about it — Thanks Dursleys!

Harry did get his greatest present when Hermione showed up. He needed her SO much. Calling her “love” is as close as he can get right now to “I love you”. Taking Ron to task for his abandonment of Hermione was good for him to do. Would that he’d followed his own advice.

Hermione’s story of meeting her parents was heartrending. Harry shouldn’t have pushed farther, but he did have the sense to back down. Sharing her bed to comfort her from her nightmare is pure Harry.

I share others’ concern about the smoking. I smoked a pipe and my SOs complained. I’m going to simply posit that they’re magical cigarettes and don’t linger on the breath.

An entirely appropriate ending.

I’ll be honest here. I’d read some of your one-shots and hadn’t been impressed. So I started this tale a bit hesitantly. But by the end of the first chapter, I knew this was a winner.

One of my beliefs is the damaged Harry. Here you gave me a damaged Hermione too. The way in which you got them to heal each other was simply masterful. Greyback was a massive challenge, but ironically without him Hermione might have never returned.

For everything to turn out so good in the end is a delight. Thank you.

I’ve an idea for a Omake: H&H shortly after their marriage go to OZ and restore her parents’ memories. After the explanations and reconciliation they either stay with frequent visits from them or they return. Either way, Hermione’s world is then complete.

Greyback should have known that a werewolf is no match for an enraged Gryffindor lioness ‼️ It was only fitting that she killed him in defense of her pride.

I share her ire at that third degree grilling, particularly by one of the Aurors who failed her the night before. Personally, I think Harry should sack them, but now would look like his being vindictive.

The return home was perfect.

Oh shit! I did not think that’s what she was hiding! I literally gasped when I read the letter. Who’s writing that to Hermione? Someone from the war? Hope Harry finds out so she can kick ass!

It’s tough to admit you need help. I’m very interested in the story can’t wait fo see how it unravels

PTSD it’s real man and this story is showing it. Doesn’t matter if it’s a human war or magical war, what you live through the horrors you see and experience will have an effect on you. Hermione’s was just one of the wort one during the second blood war. It’s going to take a lot to overcome or even just cope with what she and everyone else experienced and lost.

I never read Harmione fics, but decided to last night. I had to binge this, it was so good. Thanks for sharing such a well though out and well written story. The characters were all fantastic and I must admit, my heart felt so full and warm having Sirius so integral, as well as The Lupins. It just felt so good. The twist to Hermione's problems definitely was unexpected but so good. I enjoyed every bit of this.

I loved how the story came full circle with Hermione & Harry’s relationship! A wonderful little family you created for them! The story had so many emotions it was great!
