I had a great time reading this story.

Ordinarily I can't stand it when fics incorporate song lyrics. Sure, draw inspiration from a song, even work it into the narrative in more oblique ways, or link the lyrics at the end or whatever you like. But to paste the lyrics verbatim is usually enough to make me drop a story outright. I guess it speaks well about your writing chops then that I couldn't put this one down before finishing it.

I don't think the song thing did this fic any favors though, and if I were to have one other gripe is that BB came off as too much of a cocksure and saintly figure. It's mentioned at one time that he thought Raven was out of his league, and later he's afraid she'll wise up and ditch him, but it's not reflected in the way he acts. He's pretty much the Goth Girlfriend Whisperer, the ultimate boyfriend, always knowing just what to say and do.

On the whole though that's a minor issue. The story was so sappy it made my fingers stick together, a little maudlin at times, and I loved every moment. Thank you for sharing!

I absolutely enjoyed reading this story. I’ve been reading fanfics on this site for years but this story is probably one of the most character accurate BB Rae stories I’ve read for awhile. Keep up the good work.
