And I think I have an idea where this is going. Lilith won't join her team as expected, during their fights she talks about it with Wu Xuefeng, who tells her she should just join a Chinese team because her father still lives in china. Wu Xuefeng pulls a few strings and get's her a try-out at one of the Chinese Pro Teams.

A really creative and interesting fic, I’m really interested in seeing where this is going! I feel like Lilith is much more mature than her mum in how she reacts to things though (e.g. dishes), and I feel sorry for her, even though her mum’s reactions are realistic. A fairly concerning foreshadowing too at the end of the chapter, it seems like she won’t be joining the team she was planning to? Maybe another team and then having a stand off with this old one? No matter what, if you have a change of heart and don’t want Athena to join anymore, they should at least tell her

Hey, dunno if if this still being updated but this is a nice story. Wu Xue Feng's apparant appearance was great! And the intro, the plot is going at a really solid pace. Best wishes!

lanlan and her mum's exchange just brought up much (cough) let's just say...nostalgia, from the exchange i have with my own family. much respect for her not to lose her cool especially when she's wronged like that. lowkey hoping she can get a job and move out quickly, her current environment feels like its hindering her. maybe she can use her past life's skills to pick up gigs and start freelancing, idk, it just feels so frustrating seeing such a situation. excited for her to start officially in the esports scene~

This is a delight to read, honestly. Though that might be because I'm not big on MMORPGs either.

Also I skipped the donghua actually. Mostly because how exceedingly smug the main character seems in contrast to the web series. Don't know why, just that it feels like that to me.

So I finally started watching the TV series in Netflix, and lo behold so I am here. A bit sad that there's only 5 chapters to this fic but you know what, I'll still take it.

Uh oh... that last bit was Ominous. I like how you made the OC instantly likeable, and I appreciated that her mom, while getting in her way and dismissing her dreams, had some form of reason. I hope everything goes well for the main character, I want her to succeed!

Looking forward to more. Things don't seem to bode well for her between GhostFyre and her, and relations seem to be souring between daughter and mother. Hope things resolve themselves eventually. Excited to see if she will eventually interact with China's league. Updates seem spares, but I'll keep an eye out I guess.
