I've been ghost-reading on this website for quite some time now but after reading your story I felt I couldn't walk away without leaving a comment and finally registered :P

I read this story in a span of two days or so and have been eagerly checking for an update everyday for the last couple of weeks.

You really are talented in painting a scene and giving your characters realistic depths. There are so many fanfics out here with characters so OOC that (to me) it is no fun to read. But here we are now and I must say that you manage quite nicely to use JKs characters and still tell your own story with them. I particularly liked the library scene in Making a Deal Part II :)
I love Fremione in Hogwarts and it's a treat reading your story because there is way too little Fremione out there! ;-)
Keep up your good work and I hope that you'll find the time soon to update your story.

Hey there! I stumbled upon this story in my restless search to read something nice and sweet that would keep my mind off of the current events. None of my usual rituals seemed to be working anymore. So, when I fould 'What if' it was literally a blessing! I basically swallowed the entire story in two days, and I couldn't be more happy I found it. I love Fremione, and for the longest time I didn't seem to find a story about these two I would like, because it would be either really sad, or post-war, or very out of character for both of them. So, I'd like to drop a review letting you know my reaction, which hopefully would keep you going and make you a little less sad in this uncertain time.
First of all, I'd like to pin point the things I personally found very plausible.
1) The story is set in Hogwarts years, which is a definite yes from me. For some reason, I wasn't lucky enough to find a Fremione story during Hogwarts days that wouldn't be too much OOC, like Hermione throwing herself at Fred saying "Take me" and than they shag in the common room in front of everyone. Hermione would never do that, I mean, c'mon! So, your story was a nice change from that, I like the fact it's a slow burn, and was set very early on, so we have a chance to follow the characters as they grow up and fall for each other.
2) The story follows the books pretty closely, and I like it. it seems more realistic, or something. Like it could've actually happened, and we just didn't know about it, because it's not Harry's perspective. The only downside of this would be if you followed the books to a fault, and killed off Fred. That would be devastating. Fred's death is the only one I still can't get over. Please, don't do that? Pretty please?
3) The soulmate thing is a very interesting concept, and I would love to learn more about it in the future. Gives a nice original touch to the story.
4) From the beginning I started to suspect that English is not your native language, because of the mistakes here and there, and then you confirmed my suspicion in one of the A/N's. But let me tell you, for someone who's writing in a second language, your writing is really good. English is not my native language as well, but I've been studying and practicing for 17 years now, so I got pretty fluent, and it's somehow comforting and encouraging for me to find someone like you, who writes so well in the language that's not their own.
5) Fred and Hermione are very in character, I loved their banter, and it made me laugh out loud on more than one occasion, and it doesn't happen often. I feel like it takes a certain amount of sass to write twins true to their nature. You definitely have it. Good job!
So, all in all, what I'm trying to say is I love your story, I'm happy I found it, and I hope you will update it soon, because I sure as hell will be waiting for it. Meanwhile, stay safe and healthy.

Okay I just binged all 30 chapters of this (putting off law school entry exam prep, mind you!) and this is freaking awesome! I really like the slow burn aspect but some of the stuff is kind of annoying me now (I get having one person come between Fred and Hermione but this story has had one too many interruptions and a bit much on the dramatic side). You said that English isn’t your first language, and while that’s a bit obvious with some phrases and wording throughout the story, on the whole your English is awesome! It’s way better than some of the stuff I’ve seen written by people whose first language is English.

Really my only complaint about this is that it has been THIRTY CHAPTERS and Fred still doesn’t know about the soul mate bond. But that’s just my impatience speaking there lmao. Keep up the good work!

Love this chapter and the chapter title! The irony of Fred thinking he couldn't be so lucky is just the right amount of angsty and funny and I can't wait to see it play out!

Yeah, this was an important chapter, because I don’t see Fred and Hermione intentionally hurting Ron, so this would have to be addressed at some point.
Fred is so broody and dark, but he has reasons to, since the whole Angelina debacle.
Also, I really love Ginny and Hermione’s friendship :)
