Oh man, I really love Solangelo so this was heartbreaking. Butttttttt, since this was supposed to be sad, I think you did a really good job! Their argument was perfectly intense and the way you built up to the climatic part, where Nico picks up the pan, was impressive and flowing nicely.

This story gave me those tortuously hollow feelings, not because the story was bad, but because you wrote angst and sadness so good. Excellent job!
