I love it!
Oli chapter 1 . 11/11/2018
An absolute delight to read.
The fact that, canonically, Rin could bring herself to even look at Obito is a testament to Kishi's poor writing.
By the way, I feel like a sequel fic or second chapter would do some good. I wanna see how you imagine Rin would react to Obito becoming "good". Would there be a small shimmer of hope in her eyes or would she remain cold.
Obito Scholar chapter 1 . 9/19/2018
Nice drabble, I rarely see fics where this is touched upon, with Rin angry at Obito for his actions. But i feel like I have to point out that while Rin's death was certainly a catylist for what Obito dedicated himself to, it isn't the sole reason. Near the end of his life, with the juubi within him he describes himself as "The Hokage of the world". Everything Obito did, he truly believed was for the greater good of EVERYBODY, not just because he wanted to score some alone time with his dead crush. If that were truly the case, she wouldn't be dead in his dream fantasy where he's hokage and the Uchiha Clan is alive and well.

If you're still interested in Obito I recommend you watch this one youtuber, Swagkage's, character analysis on him. Really clears up some common Obito misconceptions.
Guest chapter 1 . 8/29/2018
Actually Obito didn't do all of this just for Rin. He didn't do it for revenge, but instead to end the world where Rin died to bring a better world with no war and a world where he could see and live with Rin again. Nice story, though! :)
