It’s been a long time since I browsed FF and then I stumble across this little gem. Very well written. I can see and hear everything that’s going on. The brothers concern over John, Alan’s frustration and fear, then relief that things were all going to be OK. Very well done!

I'm a nurse, so I know how unrealistic this is, but it doesn't matter because I love this. Its amazing to see Alan under pressure and struggling to coordinate the rest of his brothers while John's life hangs in the balance. You're writing well - please keep it up! :D
