Sometimes I'm slow on the uptake.
I was wondering why you were going into so much detail for this mission - so much much exposition by our characters and so much detail of the case and the odds they are up against (which are pretty huge btw). Yes, this entire fic is detailed, but this just seemed like ... a lot? .. more? Well, I'm one of those inquiring minds so I went back and read the last three chapters again, one after the other. That did the trick because I get it now. You are laying a bedrock foundation for their partnership and their relationship. You are detailing how Sarah is coming to realize not only what a good/great spy Chuck already is and will be, but what a great partner he is and will be - not just a spy partner, but someone she can trust with her life and her heart. You are having her realize, on her own terms, that Chuck isn't changing and likely wont change the way she feared. She is coming to realize the positive influence she has and will continue to have so he doesn't change. She has realized she can trust Chuck - something she didn't think was possible several chapters back. And Chuck is just being Chuck - he has realized that's all he has to be. He doesn't have to be anyone else. They have come a long way on this trip and it wouldn't surprise me if there is a little more growth - individually for both of them, for their spy partnership and for their relationship. You tore it down and rebuilt it. Well done!

Really sad about Hannah dying which is interesting cuz I never cared about her in the show. Can't wait to see what happens with Chuck and Sarah here. Hope it doesn't drive a wedge or something.

I didn't think you guys would kill Hannah off! Wow! She isn't annoying in this the way she is in cannon mostly because you gave her an actual story and background and some depth. She has characterization, something the show didn't do. Cant wait to see how this affects things going forward. thanks for the writing!

I was just finishing up reading this story in a single sitting when chapter 70 dropped. It took me about 45 minutes to read because I kept nodding off, but it was worth it. This is such an excellent story. You two are doing an amazing job. I am hooked.

Love the twist and turns. Will Chuck learn fast enough to survive? He is focussing better on the mission. The partnership with Sarah still complicated and a touch awkward. Look forward to more. I am a fan.

The claustrophobic feel of the ship just intensifies the action. Whew!

Loved how well Sarah and Chuck worked together to escape the Ring and even moreso how Sarah recognized it. There are a lot of Ring agents on the ship and if they have the key as well it’s gonna be some uphill battle for our duo. Chuck really does get loopy when tired and earns lots of glances from Sarah lol. Not sure what you two have planned but it has really hit the fan and can’t wait to see what comes next. It’s a little frustrating that the closeness between them has dropped off but I do really respect Chuck working so hard to make that issue easier for Sarah, to respect the concerns Sarah has should she give into her desires on this ship. I get the feeling a show down is coming... thanks SC and DC for another update

Another amazing chapter. Sarah to the rescue but the both proved to be valuable partners. Working together, playing off of one another. They have a great partnership (in more ways than one we hope).

Poor Hannah and poor Nicholas. So sad. Let's hope he can help them find the key and get off of this death cruise.
