A chapter 1 . 6/9
Overall I like it and it's good that someone is forcing Aang to see things from a different perspective and that sometimes things aren't that black and white.

I do want to point out that Zuko has never killed anybody though, so I'm not sure where you even got that idea from since that never even happened in the show or even in the comics if you have read them. Don't get me wrong Zuko did a lot of bad things but killing was never one of them. The only time he came close was combustion man and that was completely ooc which was kind of the point.

I really like that you brought up the ocean spirit thing. I always felt like it was something that should have been brought up when Aang was so against killing Ozai. It felt so hypocritical to me, because I'm pretty sure a lot of people died thanks to him and the ocean spirit at the northern water tribe.

Celevathor-Silver Warrior chapter 1 . 12/9/2018
This totally sounds like something Zuko would say to Aang. What beautiful wording too. I enjoyed this philosophical discussion. You were able to use Aangs' child-like innocence as a conduit for a difficult conversation. It was also cool how you used Hakoda as our listener because of his background in war and position as Chief. This was a fun jaunt down Avatar nostalgia, thank you! -CSW

KaliAnn chapter 1 . 9/27/2018
I love your reasoning to help Aang understand that a lot of people don't want to kill, but in war its difficult to avoid
