Great story, and while I'd love more of it, I do have to agree. This is probably the best end point for it.

Of course, I do feel bad for Azure and his eventual trip to watch the Vital Festival. On the other hand, the idea of the normal guy doing something stupidly heroic and managing to change how the invasion happens, at least somewhat, does amuse me.

Why in the hell does everyone call their heroic OC Azure anyway?

I thought the Grimm would have broken through chapters ago. Had me really convinced there the dance really was the climax of the tale.

I agree with Winter. The title of heiress is a trap. She'll spend the next twenty to thirty years as a slave and the bastard would hand it all to Whitley in the end anyway.

What I had never thought of was the comparison to Blake. Or to ask the question why either of them have to fix the mistakes of their parents? That those who ask them to fix it are as controlling as Jacques. They owe the faunus and others jack shit. Never crossed my mind before.

Plan was going like clockwork until they realised they were bloody attracted to one another. That's got to be irony, right? When you hit a rough patch in dating because you like the person after a while.

Really though it would be longer for them to get caught up in the moment. Maybe return to beacon and realise Blake and Neptune are nice, but just for them.

Should have just had that spar on the beach in front of the resort. Go all out. That would have put the civies off. Finish with offering Winter the next round.

Sun is a good pick for this kind of mission. Thick skinned. Confident in his worth. He survived Vacuo, no rich asshole can take that from him. Neptune and Jaune would be more comically in over their heads.

Helped Blake from sympathy over attraction? It probably doesn't matter but for my two cents I took it for fun, adventure and huntsman honour. Fun loving so he doesn't want to see Blake cry. A stakeout is adventurous way to spend a Saturday night. And what aspiring huntsman would leave an aspiring huntress in her hour of need?

Always been meaning to check this one out. Interesting couple. Hard to picture them together, but not impossible. Sun is a gentleman in his own way. I'm sure he would got out of his way to help a friend and fellow warrior. I don't see Weiss being attracted to an accountant or lawyer or someone who cannot keep up with her on the battlefield.

Wew, Weiss and Sun, now that is a ship I never entertained in my mind. I'm going to go ahead and blame you for making me ship them from today on though hahaha.
Seriously though, this was a magnificent take on an unorthodox couple, and Azure was a really good addition, I expected a jealous arrogant snob but man do I wish the best for him now.
All in all, loved this story and the open ending was quite a nice touch.

May get some more of these from me haha. Admittedly I never saw myself fancying Sun x Weiss much, but this was quite well done and very nice to read. Though, I did have to force myself to read the later half with all of the 'Feel the passions, dismiss it, hate each other, regret, hate, realization, more passion' drama. But, that is more due to my dislike of that cliche in and of itself. Fantastically done as always, friend.
