You clearly haven't been around kids a lot (lucky you). At 12 months of age, most of the little hellions are already walking and blabbing their heads off. At 18 months, a normal child can form partial sentences.
A child that starts speaking on their second year is on the far end of the spectrum of normality and may already warrant a specialist's opinion.

I really really really like Salem in this story, she isn’t just instantly the most evil thing or trying to kill him and his family it’s kinda nice

I kinda wanna see abyss just fuck some shit up ngl I wanna see him flaunt his power a little after him being careful with it for so long. Kinda reminds me of wuxia novels and how most the the characters hide their power until absolutely necessary

Maybe it’s just a ton of setup but I feel abyss doesn’t get focused on enough it’s more on his plans and the people around him than himself and it’s kinda getting boring at this point. Maybe that’s just this stories style but it’s not very exciting for me personally I would rather see him face threats more often to the current stuff with him just ordering people around and planning everything rather than actually acting

FINALLY SOMEONE USES MY FAVORITE WEAPON, A VERSATILE LONG REACH HYBRID BETWEEN AN AXE SPEAR AND HAMMER! Seriously though it's pretty much the be all end all when it comes to range weapons, while some are better, in the long range melee weapon category nothing is as easy to use while still being useful enough to go against the more technical but stronger weapons, the only real reason it's so good is because the handle can be used to block anything that swipes while the head can block any stabs, or just dodging

To be fair I'd likely side with ozpin because being used as a pawn and a child soldier doesn't matter to me if it helps stop humanity from being wiped out, if only a little bit.
