I dig this story. I really do. You're brutal on Harry, but you've made him delightfully, deservedly competent, peppering his teaching failures with a few hard won successes. It's by far the best pattern for an Independent!Harry, and this is one of the better ones that I've read.

Great to see another update! Cool to see Harry and Sirius working out the tension. Draco being out is an interesting twist. Applaud the confidence but still think he's swinging above his pay-grade thinking he's better than Harry. Especially now that Harry is getting himself pulled together a bit more. Hope he will make more progress ascending the power scale. Thanks for writing, this is an epic narrative. Eerie having Dumbledore out-of-sight, out-of-mind for so long. Interesting that he finally gave up his grasp on influencing events and is out on his own.
