Can I just talk about the inherent BS of magic weapons like Excalibur that only choose the 'worthy'?

It's stupid is what it is. While most people dream of having Excalibur, I would sell it in a heartbeat if I got a good enough offer. Why? Because the inherent representation of the thing fucking annoys me.

What determines worthiness, exactly? The good shit you do? The bad shit you do? It's so ambiguous that no one could figure out exactly what the fuck it's actually good for.

I hate magical artifacts that give an inherently cloudy and ambiguous requirement. Just tell me straight off the attributes you're looking for. Otherwise screw off, I'm not buying.

Maybe you revealed the whole thing with Neo posessing Ruby a little too soon. There isn't really that much mystery if you explain it so quickly after it happened. Why the alcoholic drink themes? Also, is Jaune going to wind up working at 'The Club'? I do hope you don't plan on making it a lemon, but if you feel the need to write one or two for the story, could you please do it under a separate title like the guy who writes 'Jaune Ryu Long'? Azdrgn, I think.

Ugh this is really good. I wish there was more for me to read through but I guess I'll wait. with Halloween around the corner this would be a good fic to read start to finish. keep it up!

No offence but the only good thing about this I like so far is the picture of Jaune and Blake in the tag.

Loved the detail on the seconds of whiskey, as an ex-barman it's great to see "The Code" in fanfics.

Also, I'm really excited about what you will come up with next, this is awesome!

I actually really liked this chapter. It feels bitter, which is good in my opinion. We even see Jaune play at normalcy, and he can't even fool himself. Hell, the moment Yang showed up he wasn't even surprised. Not really.

If I have to give criticism, though, I'd say this was too long for an introductory arc. You should have probably pace things differently, leaving the assault on the werewolf club for when Jaune had his feet more under him. As it is, the most we got out of him was that he's surprisingly hard to kill. Not that that's a bad quality.

I've been sticking around cause I like your writing style and especially the premise of this fic. That being said the whole arc, introduction or not, has been a bit of a drag. What thhe hell were we even introduced to? It's been a ride from one shithole to the other. And does the "protagonist" get stronger for it? Or show any inclination towards being anything remotely resembling badass? I think not. I hope you pick up the pace for the second arc. Peace out.

I do hope that this one won't be one of those "trained but still weak as shit" stories if he truly goes with the training, i'm not expecting him to kill werewolves, or hell, beowolves even after 2 months, but if you ever go beyond that or a year timeskip or something, he better gain some confidence.
