I like this story, and I enjoy your writing. I don't really like the whole "muggleborns have weaker magic!" thing. It feels like an attempt to make Dracos parents 'not that bad'. I mean look, there's a logical reason why they hate muggles, right?!

I feel the story would be a lot better if the entire muggle hate thing was a load of nonsense. And Draco would have to face that conflict of KNOWING his parents aren't bad people... but they have bad beliefs. Imagine growing up with Nazis as a parent... Something like that, it'd make a really good story but you kinda destroyed that part.

In the end though, it's ignorable. The story is still pretty decent. Thank you author.
Tony McNucklz chapter 24 . 6/21
it is beyond disappointing that you ceded this to someone else. their iteration of your work is a cliched, trope filled mess that takes what i felt was a certainly uncommon, and perhaps original iteration and makes it common recycled drudgery i have no interest in following. i qctually like that you haven't used the Gamer power beyond lists because so many authors like the new one just pop a mountain of spam grinding in that turns the character into a legendary threat before their balls have hair on them. whereas your draco has only the twin benefits of a natural occlumens ging his mind a proclivity for memory, and being an adult in a childs body he can learn at an adult rate, comprehending basic and intermediate information at a rate a child can't match. which will look like he's a genius instead of an adult mind. your draco is interesting because i can recognize flaws. that he isn't surrounded by non threats, and that all his gains will be because he put the work in. he has an advantage now that others will see his age and will look at him as a non-threat, at most a potential future threat, leaving hkm with more ability to influence the world around him outside deep scrutiny of his motives during these early years. however, i believe from your implied references to the world around the MC this will change as he gets older because while the wizarding world may not be as advanced as he would like it to be, the people within it aren't just morons that can be easily saddled and led. it seems like he has legitimate challenges coming down the line, and i don't believe the new writer is going to have that.
The short of it is your work vastly outstrips the new one, and I would encourage you to continue with this story. I'm dropping a follow on this and nkt the other one in the hopes you change your mind.
Tony McNucklz chapter 11 . 6/20
your implication that muggles are a threat makes me worried that you are going to miss something so many other writers do about muggles. they can't. use. magic. wizards have invisibility. teleportation. mind control. these three things alone are enough that careful planning and 50 dedicated wands could take over the muggle world leaders (the main ones) overnight. all the massive ordnance, the bombs, the tanks, the artillery, the nuclear bomb. all become worthless since wizard homes are largely hidden amongst muggle ones. are muggles going to carpet bomb london to get Grimmauld place? maybe a nuke to take care of diagon ally and who cares about the rest of the city?
wizards can destroy power utility and production centers. shatter dams. imperious military leaders. decimate sewage treatment. burn oil reserves. set the oil fields of the world on fire. the fact is, in a war with wizards, a real one of survival, muggles would be plunged into the dark ages before the end. wizards can survive without all of out infrastructure. therefore they lose nothing destroying it. if these and all of the other services we rely on were destroyed, we would descend into anarchy fighting amongst ourselves, doing the wizards work for them.
muggles might have numbers and vastly superior technology compared to the magic world, but so did the US military in Vietnam. and we lost. if wizards fight like the urban vietcong, muggles will lose.
Tony McNucklz chapter 5 . 6/20
i find that i prefer stories where the bigotry of the wizarding world has a basis in reality. something tangible that they can cling to which would explain how so many are willing to believe it. plus, when there is actually a measurable reason for purebloods to be incentivized towards their belief in self-superiority, then a story about reform to trend justice towards equality becomes much more complicated and therefore interesting then the usual 'clearly good guys vs indefensible bad guys' dynamic.
Even if your story could go either way as it lacks clear commitment on the social equality question from the main character, i am still gratful for another story that will explore this complication.
