MetalBatt, I one hundred percent agree with what your saying because just looking at the graveyard of dead fics and the terrible fics that started good then spiraled down because they didn’t listen or just wanted to make their story which The ones that wanted to do their thing have my respect, to actually listen see what people are criticizing and fix it from scratch takes guts and it’s a lot more then what others can say so 7th Pride has my respect and we’re all only human which is something people really need to remember but anyways time to go watch the dub of ghost stories

Yo Yo Yo, hold up. I know I just left that long ass wall of text for a review. But I just saw that dumbass guest review near the bottom, and I just couldn't help myself but to come back again. The fuck is wrong with that guy? Dude was giving a normal review and out of nowhere got all up in his feelings and pulled random shit out of his ass. Look 7th, all I'm gonna say is, don't listen to that Troll. He's obviously on some bullshit and probably wanted to rile you up for the fuck of it. Both you and your beta have created an incredible story, but there will be mistakes made along the way. You took the initiative and decided to do something that many authors on this site don't do, and that own up to your mistake. Now, while it is might sound harsh to call it a mistake, it's the honest truth. I've just begun to read this, but from what sounds like, many didn't enjoy the chapter at all. And so you decided to do the right thing, and rewrite it from the ground up. Not many have the guts and activness to rewrite 20k from the ground up on this site, but you're made of something different. You have my massive respect. Which honestly doesn't mean jack shit, but it isn't something I give out like free samples at Costco. So salutes out to you brother.

Of the three interludes, my favorite is most definitely the first one! Though, that might be because of my own bias towards the overall tone of the chapter, due to me having a similar relationship with my sister haha (minus all the perversion...). And also because it was just a really great chapter in general. For a story that I only began to read due to the concept, I never expected to enjoy the rest of the cast with equal fervor as I did with Shirou. Both Peroroncino and Bukubukuchagama are at the top of my list of favorite characters for this story, and having a chapter all about them and their daily lives, as well as their backstory, only rose their character for me! Throw in a bit of that drama, comedy, and spicy romance, and yo boy out here having a great time! Plus, I loved how you teased us on how their NPC's will act around Shirou come the New World :).

That said, I find the third interlude to be almost just as enjoyable as the first, but for obvious differences. The first main reason is because we get more backstory on Touch Me and Ulbert, which was something I was really interested in finding out since the little hints of their history here and there. And the second is because of the interactions they had with Shirou, which was definitely some deep shit that really portrayed how fucked up their era is. It gives me some heavy Blade Runner vibes, but if you were in the shoes of the average citizen. This was definitely the most depressing chapter, which is ironic due to who it was about, but fitting enough. It goes to show that even with a character as boisterous and happy-go-lucky as Touch Me, it ain't all sunshine and rainbows. And with Ulbert having suicidal ideation, it only made the chapter more depressing. Thankfully, they both had Captain Heterochromatic to save the day and kick them in the ass to make them wake up and realize that they got the boys lookin out for them and always willing to lend a shoulder to cry on. And now Ulbert might have a little thang going on in his apartment complex that might grow into something more ... The future lookin bright for the fellas, that's for sure.

The second interlude was kinda meh, to be honest :/. Which is surprising, but not really. I mean, Momonga is the main character, so there really isn't much left to work on in regards to his growth since it'll happen naturally throughout the story. And since he pretty much had an epiphany during the ending of the raid for Nazarick, that was an interlude in and of itself. So having his own chapter was kinda unnecessary. I would've preferred another main guild member instead, or perhaps an interlude that revolves around the NPC creations. Not to say it was bad, just kinda whatever.

All that said, reading these interludes have kinda changed my outlook and prediction on what might happen once the end of Yggdrasil comes. I've noticed that you've begun to establish romantic or familial relationships with these characters outside of the game. And while some of them might actually join up with the Guild, I feel like they won't really become close to Shirou personally. That is, unless they begin to hang out with him from start to finish at every point they log on, but even that's a stretch. And if you plan to go with your original idea of chapter 7, with Shirou going solo and quiet because he's dead set on finding the class cards, then there is even less of a chance of Shirou growing a deep enough relationship with the new players that he'll tell them his story. As such, I'm beginning to think that only a few will stay until the end, and move into the new world with Shirou. The only one I see going with Shirou 1000% is Bukubukuchagama. And the ones that I see a 80-90% chance of also going is Warrior Takemikazuchi, Nishikienrai, Tabula, and Yamaiko. And the only reason I say that is because they're the only ones who know of Shirou's situation, and who don't have a pre-established family life that we know of. Bukubukuchagama has her brother, but she's in love with Shirou and she will most likely stay until the very end of the game to 'send him off to the afterlife'. Thus getting stuck. The rest of the OG's might stay, and they're loved ones who have begun to play with them MIGHT also stay, only if Shirou decides to tell them the truth as well. Which I can see being an end game - no pun intended - scenario. BUT I'm also torn on my prediction, if only because of the massive respect and care the Berserker team have for Shirou. I just can't see any possible way that both Touch Me and Ulbert won't stay with Shirou until the end. He literally changed their lives and viewpoints, so it would be a massive disrespect and equally fucked up if they don't at least stay until the end as well. And then BOOM, they're stuck and have lost their contact with their family and love ones. Which would be INCREDIBLY depressing, and a nuclear bomb of angst just waiting to happen. Though, all hope is not lost. Zelretch is a constant in this universe, so he might create some kind of way for the players to leave and come back whenever they so wish, via VR. It'll be a cop-out in all honesty, but the only way I can see it going down without the remaining guild members going to shit and getting crippling depression... Just my two cents though. Hell, you might just throw a curveball and make it where NO ONE stays and Shirou is forced to become the new Ainz, which would be depressing af for not only him, but me as well lmao.

Either way, this is one of the greatest fics I've read in my entire life! I fucking love it and wish to see more from it :D! Unfortunately, Covid out here beating our shit up, so we'll have to wait a bit longer for an update. But that's cool though, you definitely produce them bangers, and long ones at that. So we can definitely wait! All that's left for me to say is, take care of yourself, wash your hands, and if possible, stay the fuck at home! Stay safe and I'll see yuh next time, my good author :D!

Blade-kun x Slime-chan are my OTP and shit ain't changin until the fated New World chapter! They even have kids already, dammit! It's all good though, Shirou is used to polyamorous relationships, so the more the merrier :). And I don't know why, but I figured that Shalltear was going to be infatuated with Shirou since beginning. Though, that ending definitely gave me some bad vibes when it comes to the fate of the rest of the guild joining Shirou and Momonga in the New World...

Bruh, I legit feel like crying. This has got to be some of the most wholesome shit I've ever read on this site and I love it. This is some God-tier writing, I tell you (;~;)!

P.S. I also couldn't help but think back to the Breath of the Wilds DLC ending where the champions take a picture together, only to have them all die shortly after. Kind of like how the guild will eventually dispand shortly after the official formation of Ainz Ooal Gown. This sad bois hour...

It's official, I don't want the guild to EVER be separated! I don't care how much of an asspull it'll be, they have to enter the New World together or else I'll call the authorities and you will hear from my lawyer :[ ! I haven't read the Light Novel, so I don't know if it's been revealed how some players were transfered into the New World. But if all it required was for them to stay until the end, then it's easy money. I can tell that their care for Shirou will only grow more and more, and I can see the members all stay until the very end with Shirou. Like if they were standing by his death bed. Thus they get stuck as well! And they live happily ever after! Hopefully...

For a story that takes place prior to the events of Overlord, this is actually pretty cool! I'm even starting to get attached to the guild members. I can even go as far as to say that I'm beginning to worry that they'll still end up leaving the story for good once the New World arc arrives...

The issue with making a person inside the game is that everything is rigid now and his actions Don't really matter past entetaining himself. Protecting momonga feels contrived because of it. Why would Shirou bother when it's literally just a game? Taking it too serious is stupid.
