This is a neat idea, but you may want to reconsider Shirou's close relationship with this "Goddess". You've already made him incredibly special with his background and retained abilities. Adding a close and constant relationship with a "Goddess" is just adding special on top of special. On top of that, their banter severely undermines the idea of Shirou being depressed since he isn't exhibiting the symptoms of depression.

At least you didn't also make him the child of one of the Big Three who is the subject of a prophecy, so that's something.
