Oh man. I am the final sap to appear by the end of this chapter! Im so happy to hear the ending, and kinda sad this is the ending! This was a great way to finish off the story, i had almost forgotten about the cat! Almost. Thank you for sharing this story it was a joy and adventure to read

The gifts are SO sweet, you have such an ability to juggle characters and make it seem cozy rather than overwhelming, it's just so candid. I love the bilingual Kai slipped in there aaaaaaa

almost all of the rest of this just, picture me - I'm all curled up with my hand on my cheek like a victorian woman going AWHHH how Darling... ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh they're happy, ohhhhhHHHHH... reading this as a whole piece really makes me appreciate how much you nailed the ending, the tone manages to stay consistent while slowly working its way upwards and letting everything relax, it's like going from a tight scared hug into a warm, safe cuddle pile its soooo good. im. im soft
and Cole... his fambly... okay another thing I've noticed is how nothing is quite an absolute, the way you write. If i'm saying that right? Like, everyone knows things will still happen. But for now, in the present, that's okay, because they're okay. And that whole sentiment takes my heart and hugs it a little too tight i love it very much

LOL! Oh, my goodness, Lloyd's "logic" in the first scene is just spectacular! Gotta love how he sounds so reasonable and mature and sure of himself. And then he goes and pulls something so absolutely childish, lol! Love it!

Jay and Lloyd bidding against each other in an ebay competition is just fantastic! And makes SO much sense! It's both awesome and hilarious how they got the exact same gift for each other and both LOVE it! Also double hilarious that Cliff Gordon apparently knew and didn't want to spoil the surprise! All the other presents everyone got for each other were perfect too! Garmadon's was especially special. Of course, no one beat's Kai's! Yay! Lloyd finally has his kitty!

Fireworks and hot chocolate and everyone crashing in a tired but happy huddle in one room when they get home, wow! We couldn't ask for a more perfect ending! Congrats on a spectacular story and can't wait for whatever you continue or come up with next! Fantastic job!

Oh my gosh the beginning of this chapter had me grinning like a fool! Lloyd is absolutely a little gremlin at heart and I love the way you wrote him, here. The rest of the team shines, as well. You do really well with family shenanigans. It's the perfect blend of stupidity and genuine love and care, and you write it so naturally. It's a joy to read and certainly makes for a great fic.

And goodness, you weren't kidding about the sap. I got to the gift exchanging scene (which is like, really early on) and had to sit back because it was so cheesy (in the best way possible. It was a heck of a lot of fun to read). It was really sweet. Like, I was smiling the entire time.

That scene where Garmadon gives Lloyd the haori was absolutely genius. It was so sweet and I know I've said that a million times by now but gosh darn it this chapter just stole my heart. I loved how nervous Garmadon was and just how thoughtful the gift was, too. Like, there's obviously a whole lot of care put into it, and I loved Lloyd's reaction. That hug felt good. That was a great moment.

The scene with the cat was also of great. I didn't expect anything less, but Lloyd getting kind of choked up about it was just stellar. It was fantastic.

Have I mentioned yet how much I love this fic? I repeat myself a lot in these reviews, but you deserve to know how good your writing is. This chapter is amazing, and I love how everyone gets a moment to shine. It's all goofy and heartfelt and just plain lovely. The overall feel of /family/ in this chapter is overwhelming in the best way. It ties everything together and really cements the themes.

I loved Cole's narration at the end, too. I don't know how to explain it, but it just fits. This chapter is the perfect way to end this story, and what a story it's been! I can't tell you how happy I am for you and that you've finished it! This fic really shows off your best qualities as a writer, and it's been a joy following it for the past year. Seriously, congratulations on finishing this, and for writing such an amazing story! This fic was always nice to come to on bad days (and good days, of course) because it was so heartfelt and sweet (most of the time, at least. The angst hits hard, but it's good angst). I'm honestly excited to go back and reread this from beginning to end, because this story is just that good.

Dude this this is the most beautiful incredible amazing story I have read and not only because you the amazing person that decided to post also because while I’ve been following and reading this story my grandpa was staying at the hospital because of pulmonary fibrosis and this was sort of my escape from that problem heck I even read and translated a couple of chapters to my distressed cousin’s and grandma(English is not our first language I’m Macedonian)...We were all praying for a miracle and it never came my grandpa died just about 2 days after new year I was heartbroken but this incredible story was my comfort and it helped me through a bit so again I sincerely thank you from the bottom of my very soul may you have a wonderful 2020.

Great ending! Perfect ending! I love this so much! I love that you choose to use Cole and Lloyd's POVs for this final part. The symbolism, as the leaders of the team, was so wonderful! Seriously, I'm running out of synonyms for awesome, lol! Although, I have to admit, I really thought there would be a huge deal made out of Lloyd getting a cat, it was nice that it just fell into the, oh, fine, keep the darn cat! LOL! The cat, Pinball? Candycane? Raptor? Fluffball? Beast?, is so awesome. I love how he chased Garmadon, lol! Them going to the Christmas festival was . . . okay, no, I can't think of anything other than awesome, lol!
