| X99 chapter 6 . 8/2 I'm surprised. I wasn't actually expecting the statue thing to end up in the story, nor did I expect to make a cameo appearance as "Eddy's friend from South Dakota." Only one complaint about that section: you don't actually have to flip the burgers. You plop them on the grill, then press a button that lowers the platen and cooks both sides at once. Search "platen grill" on Google if you want a picture. (My recommended version of that sentence: Eddy sighed, turning back to the grill and dropping another set of burger patties.) Other than that, it was pretty much a spot on description of a McDonalds work shift just like the one I finished up three hours ago. |

| X99 chapter 5 . 7/7 I have one request for this story: give Aiden a job at McDonalds and throw in a paragraph or two about "the twelve foot tall statue of a quarter pounder up in south dakota" as filler. (Yes, that's a thing. I work at the one where they put it up. In my opinion, it's a quarter million dollar waste of space.) Other than that, great story so far. I look forward to seeing what you come up with for this story, especially how you plan to integrate SCPs into a mostly realistic storyline. |
